Child custody and visitation

Love and marriage go hand in hand according to a Frank Sinatra song but in reality, marriage is not that simple.

Sadly, the state of marriage in the United States has seen better days. About 50% of all marriages in the U.S. ends in divorce. Nevada, for example, has a divorce rate of approximately 14%, one of the highest of any state. Still, outside of Nevada marriages do not fare much better. Every day, more than 6,500 couples file for divorce. There are a variety of reasons as to why: a lack of communication, affairs, incompatibility, work and personal issues, etc. No matter what the reason, though, one thing is for sure: Divorce law and procedure is a thriving part of the American legal system.

There are no easy marital problems solutions available to the thousands of couples everyday that decide to end their marriages. That, unfortunately, is something divorce attorneys are not versed in. However, if the need for a divorce arises, divorce attorneys are there to help their clients through a difficult and complicated time. Difficult divorce settlements require a considerable amount of litigation from both parties. Marital problems and solutions are complicated, and so are divorce proceedings. Especially when children are involved, divorce lawyers are there to guide their clients every step of the way. Child custody disputes are especially galling and emotional, which is why having a stellar and trained divorce attorney is so essential for separating couples during their time of need.

As stated, there are few marital problems solutions that come easy. They are an unfortunate part many adults’ lives. However, if the time comes to cast your wedding vows asunder, divorce attorneys are there to provide legal advice (as well as indirect emotional and personal support) during a trying time.
